She graduated in Chemistry from Burdwan University, passed MCA from IGNOU, completed Two years teachers training D.El.Ed program with distinction from a reputed Government Teacher's Training College. She has 13 years of teaching experience in govt. school as well as in her own coaching centre.

She is an active social worker associated with Lions Club Of Burdwan Cancer Care, in service of cancer patients and cancer awareness program throughout the West Bengal.
